Prof. Ruqiang Yan

Xi'an Jiaotong University, China

Experience: Ruqiang Yan (Fellow, IEEE) received the M.S. degree in precision instrument and machinery from the University of Science and Technology of China, Hefei, China, in 2002, and the Ph.D. degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, MA, USA, in 2007.,He was a Guest Researcher with the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), Gaithersburg, MD, USA, from 2006 to 2008, and a Professor with the School of Instrument Science and Engineering, Southeast University, Nanjing, China, from 2009 to 2018. He joined the School of Mechanical Engineering, Xi'an Jiaotong University, Xi'an, China, in 2018. His research interests include data analytics, artificial intelligence, and energy-efficient sensing and sensor networks for the condition monitoring and health diagnosis of large-scale, complex, dynamical systems.,Dr. Yan is a fellow of ASME. His honors and awards include the IEEE Instrumentation and Measurement Society Technical Award in 2019, the New Century Excellent Talents in University Award from the Ministry of Education in China in 2009, and multiple best paper awards. He is an Associate Editor of the IEEE SENSORS JOURNAL and an Editorial Board Member of the Chinese Journal of Mechanical Engineering. He will be the Editor-in-Chief of the IEEE Transactions on Instrumentation and Measurement starting from January 2022.

Research areas: data analytics, artificial intelligence, and energy-efficient sensing and sensor networks for the condition monitoring and health diagnosis of large-scale, complex, dynamical systems.

Prof. Sailesh Iyer

Rai University, India

Experience: Prof. Sailesh Iyer has a Ph.D. (Computer Science) and currently serving as a Professor with Rai University, Ahmedabad. He has more than 22 years of experience in Academics, Industry and Corporate Training out of which 18 years are in core Academics. In addition to Patents, he is involved as an Editor for 6 book projects with River Publishers (Denmark), IGI Global(USA), Taylor and Francis(UK) and Bentham Science (UAE). A hardcore Academician and Administrator, he has excelled in Corporate Training, Delivered Expert Talk in various AICTE sponsored STTP’s, ATAL FDP’s, Reputed Universities, Government organized Workshops, Orientation and Refresher Courses organized by HRDC, Gujarat University. Research Contribution include reputed Publications, Track Chair and TPC Member for various reputed International and National Conferences, Reviewer of International Journals like Multimedia Tools and Applications (Springer), Journal of Computer Science (Scopus Indexed), International Journal of Big Data Analytics in Healthcare (IGI Global), Journal of Renewable Energy and Environment and Editor in various Journals. Expert Talk on Research based topics in various Universities and Conferences in addition to guiding Research Scholars as Supervisor. He has also been invited as a Judge for various events, Examiner for Reputed Universities, is a Computer Society of India Lifetime Member and was serving as Managing Committee (MC) Member, CSI Ahmedabad Chapter from 2018-2020.

Prof. S.-H. Gary Chan

Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST)

Experience: Dr. S.-H. Gary Chan is currently a Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST).  He is also an Affiliate Professor in Innovation, Policy and Entrepreneurship Thrust of HKUST(GZ), Chair of the Committee on Entrepreneurship Education Program at HKUST, and Board Director of Hong Kong Logistics and Supply Chain MultiTech R&D Center (LSCM).  He received his MSE and PhD degrees in Electrical Engineering with a Minor in Business Administration from Stanford University (Stanford, CA).  He obtained his BSE degree (highest honor) in Electrical Engineering from Princeton University (Princeton, NJ), with certificates in Applied and Computational Mathematics, Engineering Physics, and Engineering and Management Systems. 

Professor Chan has co-founded and transferred his research results to several startups. Due to their innovations and commercial impacts, his startups and research projects have received local and international accolades. Notably, he received Hong Kong Chief Executive's Commendation for Community Service for ''outstanding contribution to the fight against COVID-19" in 2020.  He is the recipient of Google Mobile 2014 Award and Silver Award of Boeing Research and Technology. He is a Chartered Fellow of The Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (FCILT).

Research areas: Smart sensing and IoT, cloud and fog/edge AI, indoor positioning and mobile computing, video/location/user analytics and mining, IT entrepreneurship and technology transfer.

Assoc. Prof. Chuanjun Zhao

Shanxi University of Finance and Economics, China

Experience: Chuanjun Zhao is an associate professor at the Shanxi University of Finance and Economics, a master tutor for computer application technology, and a member of the affective computing professional committee of the Chinese Information Society of China. He received Ph.D degree of systems engineering from Shanxi University in 2018. Dr. Chuanjun Zhao is a member of IEEE, ACM and CCF. His main research interests are data mining and natural language processing. He has published many papers in journals such as Information Science, Computer Speech and Language, Knowledge-based Systems, Computer Research and Development, and Journal of Software. His research is supported by the national natural science foundation of China, Shanxi application basic research plan, and scientific and technological innovation programs of higher education institutions in Shanxi.

Research areas: Data mining, artificial intelligence, natural language processing.

Prof. Subhabrata Banerjee

Institute of Engineering & Management, Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering

Experience:  Prof. Subhabrata Banerjee working in Institute of Engineering and Management, Kolkata, India since 2021. He is authored numerous articles published in prestigious journals including Wireless Personal Communication (Springer), Personal and Ubiquitous Computing (Springer), International Journal of Communication Systems (Wiley) and Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET, UK). I have published more than 30 papers in International Conferences and International Journals of repute. He has also published book chapter under IET,UK publication. His current research interests include Communication and Coding Theory, Machine Learning, Robotics, IOT, Control System, and Evolutionary Algorithms, Soft Computation
